1337 is a one-to-one phone performance set in 1995. We call you from an unknown number at your chosen time; a performer plays the MENTOR, and the two of you build about an hour together, out loud. Free. 18+. One caller at a time.
It's tense and adversarial on purpose. Expect in-character hazing about skill, and anything you offer of yourself related to your social class, identity, and appearance; slurs may occur in the material; and invented threats about hacking or exposing you. None of it is real — nothing about your phone, accounts, or credit is ever touched, and no one will ask you for money, passwords, or a code. It's all-in or all-out: the content isn't tailored per caller. Say “houselights” to stop, or just hang up, any time.
The call is audio-recorded for internal creative review only, and deleted within 90 days of the playtest round.
